Paws Up! is a new dog boarding facility in Tagish, Yukon providing a more home like setting for your furry family members while you are away. We offer doggie day care to long stays and everything in between!
We are proud to be the 1st licensed boarding kennel in the Yukon, having been licensed in February 2025. We are also fully insured.
With a maximum capacity of 6 dogs, there is a quieter atmosphere and lots of TLC. The two buildings are new with large indoor bedroom like kennels. Dogs can access the play areas just out the back door. Besides the large play areas and sniff and snoop walks in the woods on my acreage and swims in the creek on hot days. Along with playing with other dogs and toys in the play park, longer 4-10 km walks are available for an additional charge of $25 per family of dogs (max 2 at a time).
We have a strict leash policy when not in the dog park. Due to the abundance of wildlife here, free runs would not be a safe option. But we still have tons of fun!
My background has 35 years of dog training and socializing experience. I raised and ran sled dogs for many years, learning dog socialization and animal health skills. I am current in Advanced Canine First Aid.
Regular basic training being done at home can be continued while at the kennel. Careful mixing of dogs in the dog park encourages socialization as a pack and they are well supervised.
